The Strand is a luxury 4 star hotel development located on 68 & 69 The Strand, North Ward, Townsville. The development consists of a main hotel building comprising of:
• Single level basement containing 30 parking spaces, storage, and utility spaces
• Ground floor lobby and bar / restaurant dining spaces
• Level 1 function area and associated spaces, along with hotel / F&B management and staff areas
• Level 2 to level 6 are all hotel rooms, which each floor containing 16 hotel rooms
• Rooftop plant / services area
• Rooftop recreation area containing pool, casual seating, and BBQ space
Detailed design to be coordinated in consultation with the Principal and Contract clauses dealing with Provisional Sums.
The intended finish of the development is targeted to a mid to high end hotel offering. The finishes have been specifically chosen to reflect the natural environment of the area, with an emphasis on tourism and the ocean views. D&C finishes to be in line with preliminary documentation.
