PROJECT DESCRIPTION OF WORKS (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
FM00306 F25 Samuels Building-Rooftop Glasshouse
• Replace / repair glass panels and associated joints to resolve rainwater leakages through deteriorated seals
• Repair / replace glass louvres that are damaged and inoperable
• Repair floor leakage due to damaged membranes
• Replace damaged sunshade cloths with new
• Upgrade Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, BMS services
• Provide appropriate infrastructure fit-out to BEES (Biological, Earth and Environmental Sciences) & PVCR to facilitate research activities

Staging of the Works
The Works shall not be divided into stages unless noted otherwise on the documentation or future addendum.
» An investigation was conducted to identify the cause and extent of the corrosion damage to the steel framing and sunscreens on the Northern and Southern elevations. Due to the level of corrosion recommendations for remedial actions to the façade elements were tabled, in the interest of public safety it was decided the façade steel work should be dismantled and removed from site and any remaining steel connection plates, bolts or cut steel should be sealed with the façade panels and brickwork penetrations closed and sealed from the environmental elements.
