Tender Description

The proposed works generally consist of the following:
- Repair & Maintenance Work, for heritage conservation, of existing building fabric, such as the basement stone masonry, external and internal walls, ceilings, stairs and other prominent and original elements
- Replacement of the roof and rainwater goods, with materials of appropriate historic use and application
- Reconstruction of elements of the building, to a design informed by research and history, such as the timber verandah, creation of openings to rooms and re-instatement of shutters to exterior doors and windows
- Re-arrangement of the amenities and kitchen facilities, that support a range of contemporary uses, for community and commercial purposes.
- New air conditioning and other services works that support a renewed and expanded range of contemporary uses.
