Tender Description

The purpose of this project is to install and commission new, modern and safety compliant feeder stations and yard equipment at Caboolture and Corinda to replace life-expired infrastructure. The new equipment will be compliant with current electrical safety and engineering standards and industry best practices. These feeder stations are crucial infrastructure from customer and operational perspectives. If the existing life-expired equipment are not renewed, Queensland Rail will be exposed to an increasing risk of asset failure with significant customer impacts and operational consequences.
The Renewal project has been underway with the switchgear and power transformers already designed and supplied. Site integration works (the subject of this tender) now need to occur to carry out all integration works such as earthwork, civil, structural & cabling works to integrate the new infrastructure into the existing traction network.
