The Tweed Valley Hospital Project is a new Level 5 Rural Referral Hospital that is being delivered by NSW Health Infrastructure (HI) on behalf of the Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSW LHD).
The new hospital is scheduled to open in 2023 and will replace most of the clinical services that are currently delivered from the existing Tweed Hospital (TTH). The site is located at Kingscliff, within the Tweed Local Government Area (LGA) in Northern NSW.
The Tweed Coast Road / Cudgen Road Intersection Upgrade delivers required road upgrade works to meet the needs of the Tweed Valley Hospital Project.
The Contractor is to manage and coordinate the design finalisation and construction of works between all subcontractors, consultants, service providers, authorities, and stakeholders to achieve the project objectives. All design documents provided by the Principal are to be developed and converted into ‘Approved for Construction’ documentation by the Contractor in consultation with the Principal and the project stakeholders.
The project objective is to address the projected increase in traffic demand driven by increased accessibility requirements and population growth for users and staff following relocation of the existing Tweed Hospital in Tweed Heads to the new Tweed Valley Hospital in Cudgen. The project consists of delivery of an overall expansion and upgrade to the existing inground services and physical characteristics to Tweed Coast Road / Cudgen Road Intersection.
All project specific drawings and specifications have been provided for direct download.
