Hazell Bros have been shortlisted and invited to submit a Tender for the subdivision works associated with Stage 1 of Harvest Estate, Byron Bay in accordance with the
documents enclosed with this Invitation (Tender Documents).

The proposed Harvest Estate development is located at 342 Ewingsdale Road, 22A and 22B Melaleuca Drive, Byron Bay. It consists of 145 x ‘typical’ low density residential lots, 4 x large lifestyle lots and 9 x green infrastructure lots, comprising open space, water sensitive urban design measures, future community centre and community garden space on the subject site. Associated works include vegetation removal, earthworks, landscaping, creation of public reserves, roads, environmental management and protection and stormwater works.
Collectively the subject site is approximately 81.91 ha in size and is located spatially central within the West Byron Urban Release Area (WBURA). The development will be delivered in three (3) stages.

A Subdivision Works Certificate (Construction Certificate) will be obtained for the bulk earthworks and civil subdivision works associated with Stage 1 only.
*NB: The current DA Conditions of Consent (Information Document E1) indicate that the development will be undertaken in seven (7) stages, not three (3). However, subsequent to the issue of document E1, the Principal has revised the delivery of the project to three (3) stages, as detailed above in Table 1 and
as shown in Figure 1. This is the subject of a modification to the Conditions of Consent, currently being reviewed by Byron Shire Councill.
Between Stages 1, 2 and 3, there are significant monitoring and establishment periods required under the DA Conditions of Consent.

Refer to the Bill of Quantities provided for your relevant package of works, and associated specification numbers.
