PAVE Plumbing Expansion (CK building)

Tender Description

This project involves the re-purposing a large portion of the existing CK building to accomodate the growing plumbing trades department at SUT. The CK building is located at the Croydon Campus in the outer eastern suburbs.
The existing ground slab to the west side of the CK building has been found to be failing and requires rectification. The project includes the replacement of a large section of the ground floor concrete slab to the west of the building including associated works such as paving replacement, gas mains relocations, garden replacement, and curb and channel works.
The refurbishment works to accomodate the plumbing department include:
• Plumbing storage facilities,
• Plumbing works bays,
• Plumbing welding bays,
• Plumbing grinding bays,
• Mechanical fitout area,
• Commissioing room,
• Specialist equipment,
• Gas storage area,
• Gas reticulation.
