Tender Description
The University has leased 3000m2 of warm shell fit-out at 535 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne. This space is divided across 3 floors, Levels 3, 4 and 5.
The University requires a generic fit-out of the three levels to include a mix of open plan office, various sized meeting spaces, both open and enclosed, breakout spaces with kitchen facilities, and support facilities including open collaboration areas, printing and personal lockers.
The key objectives for 535 Elizabeth Street are:
- Maximise access to natural light and ensure consistent lighting across the floorplate
- Provide a high level of acoustics through the space
- Achieve a high level of air quality through the mechanical system
The existing building is officially registered with the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and the development target for base building ratings in relation to Environmentally Sustainable Design are
as follows:
- 5 star Green Star (v3) Office As-Built rating
- 4.5 star NABERS Energy base building rating
