Tender Description

1. Introduction
1.1 Background
Alfred Health is proposing to update the existing Electronic Access Control System (EACS) at the Alfred Centre building from the end-of-life Inner Range Concept system to the Inner Range Integriti system that is already implemented across various parts of the campus.
There are approximately 1,000 access-controlled doors across the Alfred Health campus, with 700 on the legacy Concept system and 300 on the new Integriti system.
The Alfred Centre itself has approximately 210 doors currently on the Concept system that will be upgraded to the existing Integriti system as part of this scope of works.
Due to the complexity of the Concept system across the entire campus, Alfred Health have chosen to upgrade the infrastructure in the Alfred Centre first, to alleviate the legacy Concept system and provide equipment to be re-used elsewhere on campus as and when maintenance is required.
1.2 Project Overview
The scope of this project includes the following items:
• The expansion of the existing Integriti EACS by upgrading the Alfred Centre from Concept.
• Updating EACS field devices to meet the specifications set out in the Access Control Specification Document – Alfred Health V0.2:
o Including but not limited to card readers, break glass, exit buttons, reed switches etc.
o Adjusting devices to meet current DDA height requirements
• Updating door furniture to meet the Access Control Specification to provide a uniform interaction at all doors.
o Including but not limited to door furniture, electronic locks, door closers, dead bolts etc.
• The addition of new EACS doors to provide improved security across the building.
• Improvement of alarm monitoring to critical and priority doors.
• Improvement of security programming and processes including the automation of door scheduling and lockdown requirements.
Please note that out of hours work will be required to minimise disruption to the site.
The following items are excluded from this project:
• CCTV system
• General keying system
The purpose of this project is to provide all software, hardware and services required to deliver the works as a turnkey solution.
The work includes the design, supply, installation, configuration, testing and handover of the entire solution.
