Tender Description

Construction works of the RED-TC at 28 – 30 Adelaide Street, Armadale. Demolition, site preparation and infrastructure work and construction of the new 12-bed facility, ancillary spaces, and external landscaping of the site.

The RED-TC will be managed by the Alfred Mental and Addiction Health (AMAH) service and will provide a state-wide specialist, comprehensive, trauma-informed recovery-focused residential eating disorder treatment centre. The centre will be a therapeutic home-like (residential) environment conducive to the provision of treatment and recovery for people experiencing challenges relating to eating disorders. The program will operate 24 hours per day with onsite staff support. It will provide:

 12 residential beds (fit out of 10 residential beds is included within scope, with 2
remaining to be included as tender options); and

 A treatment model and therapeutic interventions that are personalised, evidence-based
and evidence generating.
